The Pain Of Waiting

"I want to get married and have babies by the age of 27 or 28. I need to have my own house and stable job before starting a family", I said to myself. I can still remember when I said that. I was 16 years old at that time.

Fast forward. Now, I am already 29 years old. I'm not married and I don't have kids. I do have work but I know it's not yet stable. I don't have a house of my own or a car I paid out of my pocket. All I have now are from my parents. I just could not believe that at the age of 29 I have not reached my dreams. Some, maybe, but not all.

"Value One's Worth"

As I was sitting alone at the beach with the cold air touching my skin, I felt good. I closed my eyes and deeply breathe, as I said to myself. "Life has always been beautiful if you know how to appreciate it."

I looked around, I got the chance to compare myself with the people around me. People who I considered as less fortunate. People who don't have anything. As I was doing my comparison, I felt a chill inside me. The feeling was real and unexplainable. I didn't know how lucky and blessed I am with God's grace and favor. All the things I have right now are left unappreciated because all I do is whine for the things I do not have.

Hongkong Craze Day 2

Do It Yourself -  Hongkong

This is our second day here in Hongkong and our itinerary for today are Disneyland and 360 Ngo Ping Cable Car. Although the weather is still freezing cold, we are still very excited. As usual, we ate our breakfast at some food chain along the street near our place. The people there are a bit rude but hell we care. We started our journey by riding their MTR then rode another train going to Disneyland. After a couple of minutes, we arrived at our destination. There were a lot of people but we didn't mind them.

Hongkong Craze Day 1

Do It Yourself -  HONGKONG

Oh la! I'ts been a while since i wrote something about my travel escapade. This time, I went to Hongkong along with my boyfriend Ej, his sister Eden and my sister May Ann for 4 days. My blog about Hongkong will be divided per day so I would be able to share my best experiences and things I did that might be helpful once it's your time to visit the place.

At around 6 AM of March 15, 2014, we arrived in Mactan International Airport. Our departure time was around 9:25 AM so we had an ample time to relax. Also, we did not have any problem with Immigration. They did not ask about anything so all of us passed through real fast. Usually, they will ask what's your purpose of going to that place or they will ask you some documents as proof.

After 2 hours and half, we arrived at Hongkong Airport via Cebu Pacific. We did not waste our time, so we immediately rode their MTR going to Hongkong proper so we would reach Tsim Sha Tsui (Golden Crown Hotel) where we will be staying. After several times of going back and forth to locate the hotel, we found the place, thanks to one Filipina who helped us. It doesn't look like the pictures we saw on their website but at least it was a good place to relax with its own toilet, TV, 2 queen size bed and of course, WI-FI.

Fan of Michelle Phan

It's been a while since I started liking and watching videos of Michelle Phan. I believe 'twas a year ago. My attention was caught by her because we both love make up. For me, she's totally impressive when putting on those colors in her face without struggling, that's our difference, I believe. :)

I saw her videos the first time she started, and I think, she improved a lot. This time, she's more confident and beautiful. She made her videos more enticing and not boring. Not to mention, she has a very handsome boyfriend. I love them both. They're so cute together.

Driving Lesson 101

" Learn how to drive and have my own car"

" A dream will remain a dream if not pursued!"

Owning a car is one thing I am considering but, for sure, it'll take a long time for it to happen. For your dreams to happen, you have to make sure that you are doing something. Dream big!

One fine day, I was web browsing and I found Asian Driving School. I got their contact numbers and got in touch with them. It was a good thing that they were informative and helpful. Without doubt, I scheduled myself for a driving class on December 7, 2013 for 10 hours.

December 7, 2013 10 AM to 12 Noon (First Day - Orientation)

I met up with my trainer, Aldous, near my place. We drove a brown Toyota Vios with Student Driver warning at the back of the car. We started our orientation at South Reclamation Area.

First lesson is to get to know the parts of the car. The Clutch, Gas, Gears, Brake, Steering wheel, 3 Mirrors, etc. Indeed, it was a bit confusing at first because you need to adjust and, at the same time, familiarized everything. You need to be alert and cautious at all times to make sure that you won't bump anyone. During orientation, he let me drive the car from South Reclamation until North Reclamation passing by the traffic area going to SM. I was so hesitant because I am a first timer but he was so confident that I can do it. I did! Good job!

You only live once so live life to the fullest”

Every time I reminisce the time when I was still young, I couldn't help but smile. Oh, being young is priceless. I can still remember the time when I get scolded by my mom because I am such a stubborn child who plays anything outside the house.
